Njësiti më i vjetër vëzhguese në Republikën e Maqedonisë është Njësiti i parë vëzhgues i Shkupit (APVSh).
Ai u themelua në vitin e largët 1952.
Sot ai funksionon si organizatë jo-qeveritare e vëzhgimit anëtare e LVM dhe Organizatës Botërore të Skautëve.
Në Njësitin e parë vëzhgues të Shkupit janë anëtarë më shumë se 60 vëzhgues aktivë, të cilat janë kategorizuar në disa grupe të moshave.
Vëzhguesit prej 7 deri në 10 vjeç janë në grupin e tufës dhe quhen puhizat; prej 11 deri në 14 vjeç ata hyjnë në patrullë dhe quhen vëzhguesit juniorë; prej 15 deri në 21 vjeç formojnë klub rinor dhe quhen vëzhgues-piratë. Mbi 21 vjeç, vëzhguesit quhen vëzhgues më të vjetër.
